Confirmed via Rolling Stone preview of Kanye West's new album "808s and Heartbreak", the album will not feature any "Hip Hop or Rapping" like his previous songs he is known for.
Rolling Stone who were given a preview and they said "All vocals were sung and treated with the electro "auto-tune" effect. But there was no rapping or overt sampling, just emotional waves of electronic sound, beats and occasional strings."
This is some great news! I am in the minority of people that believe that the music Kanye West is putting out right now is the best stuff he has ever made.
His new tracks are so emotional and illusion like. They are almost out of body ish. He is heading in the right direction, and i can tell this is the case because mainstream american radio and fans are pushing against it, while he becomes more liked by the electronic world crowd.
That is some promising moves for Kanye West, as we should all know america's musical influence is severly lacking and one track.
check out this quote when Kanye was asked about the negativity towards "808'"
"It's from my heart. I don't give a fuck if someone rates it 'hot' or 'not'. I’m here to bring positivity that cannot be judged," he said at the album preview. "It's like judging a grandmother's love, and someone says 'Your grandmother gets two and a half mics.' Or, 'Your grandmother didn't sell a million the first week'."
This should be awesome!
