So apparently PCD is sooo desperate for this album to sell, Amazon and Interscope have agreed to sell "Doll Domination" for 2.99 for the next two days, till Sep.30th.

I dont know anybody who would ever dare subject themselves to this horrible album...but im liking that 2.99 price.

If everyday albums were like 2.99 for low artists and 5.99 for big acts, Id probably buy more legal music.

90210 1x06 Spoilers

Everybody knows Luke Perry and Jason Priestley have said "not now" to the CW's new 90210—so how is it then that both Dylan McKay and Brandon Walsh pop up for major plot twists in next Tuesday's episode?!

In "Model Behavior," the episode of 90210 airing Sept. 30, we learn that Brenda (Shannen Doherty) has been keeping in close contact with twin brother Brandon and ex-boyfriend Dylan. In this ep, Brenda reveals some heretofore unknown details about Brandon's current whereabouts.

But that's not all. Next week, that wayward Dylan finally phones home again. Apparently the call is to Brenda's phone, but both Brenda and Kelly end up talking to him, and after the fact, the two girls get into a "tense" convo (most likely because he calls Brenda's phone).

This is pretty kool, "Buffy" and "Angel" did the same thing when they were stuck in the "Network Wars" between WB and UPN, so it's kool that the show can still manage to incorporate these two characters while the actors decide if (more than likely WHEN) they will officially return.

Will Smith back for more "Legend"

Francis Lawrence at Comic-Con International two months ago, confirmed that Warner Bros. is starting to get the ball rolling on a prequel to the 2007 Will Smith blockbuster I Am Legend, which grossed $584 million internationally.

It is now official on all fronts.

Lawrence will returning to direct,Will Smith will return as Dr. Robert Neville,as well the original movie's producer Akiva Goldsman.

The prequel to "Legend" will cover the final days of humanity in New York City before a man-made virus creates a plague that wipes out the population, leaving Neville alone with the mutated inhabitants.

Is this movie necessary?

Regina George signs up for "Holmes" Flick

Rachel McAdams (aka Regina George) will star opposite Robert Downey Jr. in "Sherlock Holmes," a reimagining of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's supersleuth that Guy Ritchie is directing for Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow.

The movie, which will begin shooting next month, takes its cue from a forthcoming comic book that producer Lionel Wigram wrote as a selling tool for a new take on the classic character. The concept sees Holmes as more adventurous and less stuffy than previous screen incarnations and mines more obscure character traits.

Downey will play Holmes while Mark Strong ("RocknRolla") plays the main villain, Blackwood. Jude Law is portraying Holmes' colleague Watson.

McAdams plays Holmes' enigmatic love interest, Irene Adler, a character who appeared in Doyle's 1891 "A Scandal in Bohemia." While the character only appeared in that one story, McAdams' personage would return for any possible sequel.

I am very excited for this "Sherlock Holmes" film! I have a feeling it will be very "Mystery Men meets League of Extraordinary Gentleman meets Sherlock Holmes" That is a good combo.

More 90210 Coming...

The CW has officially picked up it's new series "90210" for a full season consisting of 22 hour long episodes. They had intially only commited to 12, but given the show's high debut numbers and steady weekly digits, it's no surprise they have decided to put a little faith into the famous zip.

The pickup makes it the first new show of the fall season to receive a full season pick up on ANY network.

The CW also announced that they have added Rebecca Kirschner to the staff as Head Writer and Co Producer. Kirschner is made famous in the industry for being a part of the writing staff on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer","Freeks and Geeks" and as Head Writer on "Gilmore Girls". So this is definitely a welcome addition to the developing show!

90210 news bites...
Jennie Garth aka Kelly Taylor is currently in the process of re-negotiating for more episodes this season, no final word spoken yet but we can assume she will be staying.

Shannen Doherty aka Brenda Walsh unfortunatly was only signed on for the 5 she has done,and she has yet to re-negotiate a deal because she is working on another show pilot , but she has been such a welcome addition to "90210" that I hear CW is actively working with her to return later in the season. Doherty's final episode is currently set for next tuesday.

Johnny Depp is Disney's Golden Ticket...

So Disney held this huge "Movie Preview Event" where a TON of news and details were revealed about upcoming films over the next couple years. One of the biggest developments revealed was the amount of work being provided to Disney from "Pirates" star Johnny Depp.

Here is everything that was announced relating to good ole Jack...


Disney officially announced today that Johnny Depp will star as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland.

It was also revealed Burton is shooting the film in 3-D.

The film will combine performance-capture imagery, similar to Robert Zemeckis' Beowulf, with live-action footage.

Depp is joining previously cast actors Mia Wasikowska (as Alice).
Disney has set a release date of March 5, 2010.


During Disney's Movie preview today in Hollywood, the studio asked who could possibly play the lead in its upcoming feature "The Lone Ranger".

Disney then rolled out the USC marching band to come down and play the Ranger's theme song. This was followed by an appearance by Depp himself who took to the stage in full Captain Jack Sparrow attire...wearing The Lone Ranger's mask.

According to Disney, Depp is officially signed to play Tonto and not the Lone Ranger as was initially implied. Tonto is the native american sidekick of the Lone Ranger.

The Lone Ranger, said to be an origin story, is written by Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio, who also wrote the "Pirates" films and the upcoming "Prince of Persia" film starring Jake Gyllenhaul.

No Release date was given on "The Lone Ranger" but we would assume Late 2010/Summer 2011.


To finish off all the craziness announced today at Disney's Movie Preview Event,host Dick Cook(Head of Walt Disney Pictures) mentioned that this might mean we'll see another Pirates of the Caribbean movie, confirming that a fourth film from that franchise is also in the works.

We can safely assume that Johnny Depp is signed on for the aforementioned "Pirates 4", which will more than likely be written by Ted Elliot and Terry Rossio and if we are lucky Disney will throw enough money at Gore Verbinski to return as well.

I dont expect a fourth "Pirates" film till 2012 though. Good News tho!

After 8 Years, MTV has decided to close the shades on TRL's windows. The finale episode will air with a two hour series finale special that the producers are hoping to get back all the artists and vj's that helped make it the mainstay for teens that it was for so long.

Truthfully TRL has not been an "In" thing since 2003, and eve that is stretching it a bit. Back in the good ole pop days of Nsync and Britney, TRL was the place to watch for new music videos, see who was the coolest celebrity out there and see and hear exclusive things before it ever got out. In this day and age where video blogging ,cd leaks & youtube have everything up before even the artist wants, shows that countdown what is hot become beyond not.

Carson Daly (who was the original host) had what what was probably the last of the old school MTV charm. Where the VJ's were such personalities and were visible ALL DAY on different aspects of the MTV brand, that they felt like your friends. New VJ's dont have this. I recently watched an episode of TRL with Lady Gaga. The Host was horrific, some skinny tan british girl who did not know how to hold a microphone let alone know anything about charm or charisma.

Producer Dave Sirulnick says that "the show is taking a break in this form...and may return when the time for it arises". If everything goes how the world works... it will be gone for 2-3 years and when pop music returns, so will TRL. It will be vintage then.

Normally I would love to be posting an amazing "Disturbia" performance...but I think this one makes it painfully clear that after a ridiculous 2 years supporting "Good Girl Gone Bad" and it's 400 #1 Singles Rihanna needs a serious break.

This performance is horrific and dull.

She looks and sounds soooo bored by this already. And it's truthfully making me bored of her, So id rather her take a nice break with chris brown and come back in the spring of 09 with some raw future retro shit.

Only good thing is her outfit, and thats just cuz I dont want to totally hate her.lol.

Anoraak is a nice little gem of a dj i found about a week ago, and have been testing in the car to see if it's more than just a "fad". I have to say the songs are great! They are a bit like Death Cab meets 80's synth pop. Very Mellow and Vibey but still some great electronic beats all around. This basically sounds like it could be soundtrack music for Mannequin or Adventures in Babysitting.

Ive posted my favorite tracks. They are excellent. Wont Dissapoint...guarantee it.

Janet Jackson Officially Goes Solo

Janet Jackson has officially gone solo...as in she is now the first major artist to become a free agent with no ties to a record label.

Janet and her label Island/DefJam came to an aggreement to release her from her contract. She has been seeking severance from them since they decided to push back her third urban radio single "LUV" and failed to properly promote the second single "Rock wit U" or the album "Discipline" in general.

Jackson now has the freedom to promote all her music and programming direct, with no ties to a record label to muddle it in legal matters.

Her producing parter Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, has spoken publicly about it on video blog posted on www.rapup.com ."We didn't get the support from the record company," he said. "[Janet] felt like it wasn't pushed. I felt like it wasn't pushed correctly. She just didn't get her just due as an artist of that magnitude." Jerkins noted.



I for one am extremely proud of her for taking this step. I felt that "Discipline" was great and deserved much more promotion, but it's a general trend in the industry right now for labels to be very lazy with their artists.

Go Janet! Two weeks!

2008 Primetime Emmy Awards...

So I just found out the 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards are tonight...Does anybody even care anymore?

They are still going to give awards to shows that the forward public have already moved on from , such as Ugly Betty,Desperate Housewives,House,Grey's...etc.

Expect these ratings to be beyond horrible.

90210 2.0 Stabilizes on Tuesdays

After the record breaking premiere and the more normal numbered second week, Critics were ready to write off rebirth of 90210 as potentially failing, but the series managed to maintain it's audience from last week even growing a bit in it's target demo.

In its third week, the CW's "90210" (3.3 million, 1.7/5) managed to halt its ratings plummet after last week's steep drop. The teen drama stopped at a number similar to "Gossip Girl." The show even improved slightly among the network's target women 18-34 demo. The fate of "90210" was likely aided by a lack of competition from ABC Family's hit soap "Secret Life of the American Teenager," which aired its finale last week.

Also CW's potential new "Gilmore Girls"- esque show is currently tanking...kinda sad considering it was pretty witty and funny.

New CW drama "Privileged" (2.4 million, 1.1/3), however, failed to improve its meager debut rating at 9 p.m. and sunk a tenth in the adult demo.

Dim Future for Sarah Connor Chronicles

With the rising success of Gossip Girl on the CW, Fox's "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" continues to drop in ratings from it's second season premiere.

The series averaged just 5.5 million viewers compared to the 5.7 it had last week(even worse when compared to the 9.7 million that tuned in last year)

When asked for spoilers on "Chronicles" Entertainment Weekly columnist Michael Ausellio had this to say.

Question: Any word on the status of Sarah Connor Chronicles? -- Charles
Ausiello: I'm a little worried. The ratings for the second episode sucked big time, and if the free-fall continues, I honestly don't see how Fox can afford to keep it on the air. Very frustrating. Maybe this exclusive little casting scoopbit will help get those numbers up: Stephanie Jacobsen (Kendra Shaw of BSG: Razor) is joining the cast as a love interest for Derek (Brian Austin Green).

Fox needs to get themselves straightened out and realize that going head to head with one of the most talked about shows of the season is not good.

Even I missed Sarah Connor because of Gossip Girl. I couldnt help it...that commercial with chuck and blair, and dan and serena...and the BLACKOUT! What a great commercial! I am not surprised one bit that episode scored them the best Gossip Girl ratings ever!

The song was recorded sometime last year, when Hilary was touring in support of her album "Dignity".

She has just finished filming the video, which should be out in the upcoming weeks.

The song is also more than likely going to be her last single with her current record label Hollywood Records (aka Walt Disney Records with a different name) as this Album fulfills the contract she had signed with them and all parties have decided not to renew. Hilary is interested in a new label.

LaLohan Slams Sarah Palin

Actress Lindsay Lohan has slammed U.S. vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin insisting she is unprepared for a job at the White House.

The Mean Girls actress and rumoured girlfriend Samantha Ronson also championed presidential candidate Barack Obama in a joint statement on Lohan's social networking blog(aka Myspace where all kinds of drama are brewed).

Lohan writes, "I really cannot bite my tongue anymore when it comes to Sarah Palin. I find it quite interesting that a woman who now is running to be second in command of the United States, only four years ago had aspirations to be a television anchor, which is probably all she is qualified to be."

Lohan also spoke about Palin's views on homosexuality.

She adds, "Is it a sin to be gay?. Should it be a sin to be straight? Or to use birth control? Or to have sex before marriage? Or even to have a child out of wedlock?

Trailer: Fast and Furious

This trailer has been out for about a month, but few people have seen it. Here you have the fourth installment in Universal's "The Fast and the Furious" Franchise simply titled "Fast and Furious".

The movie reteams the first film's core actors Vin Diesel,Paul Walker,Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez. It is also being directed by Justin Lin, who helmed the third entry "Tokyo Drift" in which Diesel returned for a small cameo.

I think it looks pretty excellent, esp since the first film was much more of a "cop/drug thriller with cars" as opposed to the more "racing movie" that they have kind of become known for.

"Fast and Furious" will be released June 12, 2009.
